These photos were released on January 6, 2009.
They show the unique dining room “Ithaa” in the world’s first underwater restaurant.
The restaurant is at the Conrad Maldives Rangali resort in Maldives.
It cost$5 million to build restaurant 5 meters (16.5′) below the waves of the Indian Ocean.
It offers 270 degrees of panoramic views of the sea-life and was designed by a New Zealand firm and constructed in Singapore.
It took a team of divers and 50 locals some13 hours to set it in place.
